Alcohol Ink on Yupo and Using Up Pieces

Hello crafty friends! How on earth is it already March?! This year is flying by so quickly!

I’ve been so busy lately, I’m sorry for the lag in posts. Baby and I have been going to library groups and organizing Mom groups and a new Keto lifestyle and unfortunately crafting has been on the back burner.

Until today!

We finally made it to the craft room and had a great time crafting and blowing raspberries at each other. 💜

Today’s cards are made with a few backgrounds of alcohol ink on yupo paper that I had made a while ago. They’re so much fun to play with but I often forget how many I have!

These cards today are just some of the ways you can make use of backgrounds!

This first card is so simple, just did cutting a square from a alcohol ink background, mounting it on a white card base and adding a critter and sentiment! These blues are so versatile for a cute lobster from Darcie’s Heart and Home I coloured for the Daily Marker Challenge.

Just a note, don’t emboss on or near yupo as it’s synthetic and will shrivel up like a raisin!

This card uses a big circle diecut as a pop of colour and a Narwhal from Ellen Hudson’s Arctic Pals set coloured with shimmery pearl watercolors. A simple sentiment from the set finishes it off!

The last card uses a bunch of circle die cuts from a background and stuck onto a card panel with a strip of yupo mounted on foam with a sticker sentiment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I really appreciate all the love 🙂
